'When I was young I dreamed of playing for Sao Paulo and playing just one game for the national team. How To Save A Life
Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you (x2)
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Conquered the battle but not the war....
It's good to get another semester under my belt, one thing i realized between this semester and the previous one was that, though there was still the usual rush rush for time to submit assignments, It wasn't as bad this time around compared to the last sem..So for my group and I, we've learnt a fair bit...and I think it can only get better as it goes on from here.
Some ended the semester yesterday, some today...I had to end mine at 7 plus cause of extra classes. Not really enjoyable come to think about it, but guess it has it's advantages at times.
Well, back to the title. Yes..so this semester is the battle. However, there's a big war awaiting when i touchdown back from Down-under..it's called Final Exam...Just makes me go RED at the sound of it...but challanges are meant to be conquered...so January 08...I'll meet you soon...

Not much of an Ironman after all...
This being the final week, is where everybody gives their very last push to cross the final hurdle and we can see the finishing line just around the corner. Basically what happened to me, is i'm now sitting down and watching people run towards that line, that's the feeling you get when you fall sick and feeling pretty much hapless at doing anything. Through this time, when you can't do much you tend to think alot....about lots of things...like everything that you've done through the year...(especially that, as it is come end of the year...there's alot of reviewing to do.)
I've always thought to myself that i'm like Ironman, but come to think about it...at times, I'm not much of it at all. In fact, feeling very fragile now is more likely to describe my current situtation. When your strength is not enough, You call on God to pull you through it but everytime that help comes in, you feel that you're at a breaking point everytime. It sucks to just fall short of your expectation....it doesn't help when you're feeling all over the place...

This is offically the end of Semester Zero...
This week that has just ended was supposedly the "killer week" because of all the exams that were scheduled together with all the due home-work. The lined up back to back after each day and the home-work were all due at the end of it. Trust me..24 hours did not seem like enough time to anyone.
The exams lined up as such
- Monday - English Listening Test
- Tuesday - Social Science exam
- Wednesday - Reading and Writing English exam
- Thursday - Economics and Maths (hate it...)
- Friday - Business and Malaysian Studies (shooting practice...)
- the coming Monday - IT exam
I have about a weeks' holiday which is also crowded with other events ....so guess that's so much for my holidays, looks like I'm not having much of it at all.
However, despite how things have gone for and against me this semester, i think I've done enough to pass my subjects except for my maths...

At Long Last...
I have not been sleeping much of late....In fact, i have not been sleeping nearly at all. The only day i managed to sleep in was 2 days ago but even that was at the expense of my business tutorial and lecture. I had slept at 5:30 the night before....more like morning...actually...finishing my business assignment. My group-mates and I fortunately managed to complete it early and therefore it saved us from stressing ourselves out, like the other groups.
We had to pass up
- Business Assignment (wednesday)
- Economic Assignment (thursday)
- Malaysian Studies Project (friday)
- Malaysian Studies Presentation (saturday)
- Malaysian Studies Mid-Term paper (most prob.....saturday)
So think about that..how to complete all those. Lining up for next week are Reader Response 2 and Social Science tutorial presentation. So looks like the work is gonna pile up pretty soon. However, i'll be enjoying tonight first. Unless some class-mate decides to be hard-working and the peer pressure is going to get to me.
Today is also Pastor Caleb's & Audrey's birthday. Happy Birthday People....God Bless You all.

Ending on a sour note
This week was supposed to be a weekend to be looking forward to. For various reasons, one major example is, this week is the English Premier League curtain raiser the "Community Shield" as League Champions Manchester United go head to head against the FA cup winners and league runners-up Chelsea. In addition to that, i also managed to get good seats for the simpsons movie. Thanks to a certain person name Melvyn, we got wonderful seats....right in the middle. Probably if not the ultimate seats in the cinema. It was also PC fair, it doesn't come really often however when it comes..it certainly drags a big crowd together with it.
Well, for those who know Ji Mi. Apart from his usual brilliant-ness with his sciencetific talk and all. Today, he showed that he is still very much human like everyone else. hehehe...
Incident 1: In my car on the way out from church
I was going to drive to KLCC. Ji Mi and myself were supposed to meet Melvyn there and Victor would join us later. So here is the first incident. It's a coversation between Ji Mi and myself.
Me : Alright, i'll be going back to change then we can go de.
Ji Mi : Okay, err...but Kevin now that i'm in your car...what am i going to do with my bicycle.
Me: *stunts awhile* then why on earth are you sitting in my car??
Incident 2 : At little penang cafe
We ran into Faith and Douglas at KLCC....but that's not the point. Back to the story, since we were starting to feel the time pressure on us. We swiftly made our orders. The drinks came 1st like usual. Then this bowl of prawn mee arrived...(*that's what i ordered*)
Me: Ji Mi, u ordered prawn mee too??
Ji Mi : yeah...
(this is the part where Ji Mi starts eating) (shortly, a bowl of assam laksa arrives)
Me: Oooi!! you're eating mine la!!
Ji Mi : No wonder it didn't taste anything like Assam Laksa
Me : you said earlier you ordered prawn mee , right Mel?
Melvyn : yeah...that's what you said.
Me : You're so gonna spend me pop-corn!
Melvyn : Mine too....
Mel was really pushing his luck alittle way too far.....it didn't work in the end. ehehhe
In conclusion, like what Melvyn said...Simpsons movie 5 stars for you!! It's a good show to catch. However, the crap part of the day came later...
It was time to go home....so we headed for the exit....Mel and myself queued up at the back of a long but moving queue to pay for the parking ticket.
Incident 1 : Machine "spits out" the ticket immediately after i slotted it in. Irritated and annoyed i was...
Incident 2: We repeated the same process, this time the machine was hungry...it ate my ticket..so i slotted my Rm 10 into the other slot....and it refused to give me my ticket this time. We pressed a couple of buttons and out it came.
However, i sense that a problem would occur later and true enough to my dismay. I was right. Towards the exit, as i put the ticket into the machine. The bar did not go up and they refused to let me go...despite showing them the proof which was 50 cent coins that the bloody stupid machine threw back at me...The way the people at the counter said this "ada bayar tak?"...to me was such a bloody insult. If i had intended on cheating money, i would be an idiot to cheap on parking charges....it's only a few dollars!!!!
I had to get out of the car, put the lights on Hazard mode...go to the office where i was questioned by some joker, whose words i could not understand a single bit. Soon after, i was allowed to leave, by telling my car number at the intercom.
An incident that drove me up the wall...and also recked my day.
In conclusion, KLCC parking machines are plain unreliable and stupid. The people working in the car park were very inconsiderate by posing their questions in that sorta manner.

15th July 2007 : Is now offically called car day...
Cars involved : Kia Picanto and Perodua Kembara
People involved : Peter and Pastor Nancy
Here's exactly what happened. We'll start with Peter. His car battery ran flat, what exactly happen i'm still not entirely sure. However, it seemed was that Peter's car battery was already old, and due for a change ..what contributed to it was he left the lights on ...for about 4 hours. So what does that gotta do with me? Nothing actually.
His remote wasn't working either which means he couldn't open the car door without triggering the alarm. So he phoned me, and i took him to 7-11 (a place which doesn't sell batteries for car remotes) and then he went to a camera shop instead to get his remote fixed...On the way back to church, he was saying that he didn't want to attend service, i told him that maybe God wanted him to go for service...that's why the car won't work. Guess what?? he sat through service...LOL...sorry peter!
2nd incident of the day. What happened with Peter's car was before church and i was still home that time. What happened to Pastor Nancy's car happened after church and i was back home that time too. LOL. Anyway, Pastor Nancy's car apperantly ran out of Petrol, Amelia thought i was on the way back so she called me, didn't know that i was already back home. So i took Pastor Nancy , Amelia and Andrea to the petrol station. Pastor Nancy bought the petrol and later when we tried to fill the car, realized that Perodua has a metal flap so i use a stick to push it while Pastor Nancy poured the petrol in. And that was about it....
Later that night drove back to Uni in almost total darkness. Really something i wouldn't want to try ever again. kinda scary to be frank, no street lights at all.

2 in 1 : yesterday and today
- Yesterday (8th July 2007) a series of event happened. Basically it's not something that would go down in the history books but well something that I took note of. The 1st thing was that it was a cell outreach and we went for a movie "TRANSFORMERS". Now, everybody has been talking about this show..and i've watched it before..and it's awesome. Well, the group consisted of 2 generations...the constant movie-goers generation and the haven't gone for movie in sometime generation. Basically means parents and children, only Uncle Jonathan amongst the parents goes to the cinema regularly. I even over-heard my Dad telling Uncle Peter Yeow (Ji Mi's dad) " I haven't been to the cinema in at least 10 years" and the reply my Dad got was "10? 15 sounds more like it." Well, they didn't really understand the show i guess, but glad they came along it was fun for them to come see what we are into and stuff like that.
Yesterday
-Yesterday was also the 1st time our church had our young adult service and i personally think it was great! Seeing our peers join in for the service, i think that this will be a great success. Pastor Ong turned up in Shirt and for the 1st time in a long while without a coat and tie. So the service to be relaxed was meant to be..the message certainly didn't lack any impact that's for sure.
Today
- Today will be the day i'll always remember as the day i came face to face with death in a form of a toll's bar. I've driven for a year plus now and in addition to that i've been driving on the elevated highway for the past 6 months going to work. So i'm really familiar with the roads there...what made it more ironic was that in the past few days i've been going to KLCC more frequently than i can think of. What happened was....i drove towards the smart-tag lane, already with my smart tag facing the wind-screen. I was going at walking pace to be exact.
The only situations are:
1. TAG SUCCESSFUL - The board shows how much your credit has left and the bar goes up you proceed with your journey. And normally your smart tag gadget "beeps" as a signal of successful tag
2. TAG UNSUCCESSFUL - You reach into the box and on the screen pops "Kad tidak Sah" and you either get help from the workers there or you have to reverse and head to the cash lane instead.
- What happened today was ...the gadget beeped and when i was about to accelerate off, the bar did not go up...i quickly jammed the brakes and i tell you. It was just a few cm away from shattering my wind-screen. Close call.

Footballers = Fruits?? Maybe or Maybe not
"Young players are a little bit like melons - only when you open them up and taste the melon are you 100 per cent sure that the melon is good" - Jose Mourinho -
And he added
"Sometimes you have beautiful melons but they don't taste very good; other melons are a bit ugly and when you open them the taste is fantastic." - Jose Mourinho -
Chelsea players ..if they were fruits
Didier Drogba - Apple - Solid, reliable, never lets you down. Can be made to fall by the slightest breeze.
Frank Lampard - Avocado - Versatile and unfathomably popular, despite surprisingly high fat content.
John Terry - Coconut - Utterly indestructible, and can stand up to any punishment. A bit vacant.
Joe Cole - Banana - Boasts an exotic touch, but has soft flesh and bruises easily.
Claude Makelele - Blueberry - Small, often going unnoticed, but extremely good for your health.
Ashley Cole - Pomegranate - Overpriced and overrated. Classy exterior but a bits-and-pieces contributor.
Arjen Robben - Strawberry - Fair-weather fruit. Notoriously fickle and often useless during the winter months.
Andriy Shevchenko - Lemon - World class when combined with the right ingredients, but just plain bitter at times.
got anything better than those above?? let me know...

I know alot of Malaysians...including myself guilty at times critize the asian football at times. We certainly laugh at them whenever blunders happen and we think they are some lousy footballers. We say they "should have , could have and stuff like that" well, those mistakes made by our branded "amateur" players are also made by those Higher profile players...

Ipoh Mali Ipoh Ipoh Mali...
(Breakfast)Since it was a job recommended by Leonard, he did the polite thing in taking Jireh and myself out for breakfast ...though we had to get up at 8am. We went somewhere near ampang for breakfast and while on the way there...there were 3 coincidenence.
- Saw Jireh's aunty's car
- Saw my Dad's previous car
- Saw Aunty Karen - Leonard's mom.
Leonard doing justice to his food
Take a close look can you see the bug on the windshield?.jpg)
We were heading to meet Leonard's colleagues at his aunt's place. And from there we were going Ipoh mali Ipoh Ipoh mali...(don't know if it's the right way to say it).
(Fast Forwards)
Soon Marcus took us to some shop in Bidor. He says that he stops there almost everytime to have the duck noodles..
Opposite: L to R ..Andrew , Leonard and Jireh's armIt was a good meal....and so the journey continues....(Fast Fowards >> )
We arrived at the place where this event called "JomHeboh" was held....near the Perak FC stadium. Don't really know what's the meaning of "JomHeboh". Jom to me is "come along" and heboh seems like "make noise". LOL.. The booth was more or less setup except for the tables and stuff where we had to get work to kick-off.
Translation: Processing Intel Core 2 Duo. Computer greatness starts with Intel.
Our jomheboh booth : Jeff and Marcus checkin it out
As Leonard looks on....
Jomheboh bersama Hp dan Intel was the favourite line of our Dj....After setting up, the booth...with those tables with black cloth. We had to wait nearly 2 hrs or maybe more than 2 hrs to wait for the telecom fellas to fix up the phone wire. And it was a really long wire...i mean really long...
So mainly that was it for friday, we checked into the hotel and soon went out for some dinner.
Inside Heritage Hotel
The Ferrari parked in the V.I.P spot infront at the hotel
A food place with the most ridiculous name ever....
The not so nice shirt we had to wear throughout the JomHeboh
Some hawker stalls....well actually alot of them. This is only a short stretch....It was more like a nite day trip than anything else.
Close to far: Jeff , Marcus and Andrew
Handphone Accessory Shop...but look what are they selling...??
7-11's Main Rival so far only seen it in Ipoh and no where else....LOLThe following day, i woke up about 6am to get ready because. I spent the night sharing the room with the dj..who appearantly is a smoker...and when i returned to the room...it was kinda smokey. So hard for me to sleep....easy for me to get up....
Arriving at the stadium not many people there....so started unloading some stuff....including stickers and prizes.
The prizes for "lekat & menang"And so we basically go around spotting people with these sticker on them every 3 hours like that..
-I realized something while doing all the sticky work. That people : -
- Don't like stickers sticked on them
- Despite sticking on thousands of them...we can barely anyone with it
- If you've spotted them, and tell them they won...they seem reluctant to believe
Those were the laptop supplied by the other company on display.Another thing i realized, well i don't intend on offending any Ipohlian (not Ipoh ah Lian...people from Ipoh don't get me wrong). The laptop ranges from 1,999 - 3k something. Apart from the fact they threw freebies in...it was just so so. But there were people buying laptops all over...and some even paid in CASH!!! Cold Hard Cash....a whole bundle of RM50 . I'm not surprised that maybe some even bought motorbikes at the Suzuki booth with cash too.
The Clowns hard at work...
Of course some people just ignored them ='(
Looks like the clowning job got the better of him....hahahahWe ended saturday pretty late. It's my deepest regret not to follow Marcus and the rest out that night. They had some lovely desert...and i said
"Unless i try that desert, i won't leave Ipoh...cause it's almost like not stepping foot into Ipoh by not trying it"Sunday was another packed day
Literally i mean....see for yourself. However , to my amazement.....even the Police opened a booth at the jomheboh offering this...
Read it yourself....Well, i was quite relieved to be leaving. Plus the night before i witness Chelsea surrendering the EPL crown after drawing 1-1 with Arsenal at the Emirates. What made matters was on the night is where we parked...some idiot double parked...if only my phone had battery i would have take a picture of his number plate. I don't know what on earth was that fella doing...almsot everyone else who double parked had left...and he...NOoooo....had to hide inside the crappy concert that was hebohing Ipoh to bits.
Got up early on Monday morning for Dim Sum....the food was okay....but the service the waiters gave were kinda dodgy...
That was only a fraction of what we actually ate...
The backshot of that Ferrari...the number plate is WPS 18
Front shotThere was another Ferrari parked near Leonard's Aunty's place. Never seen so many Ferraris in such a short span of time.
Anyway, i'll cut the other details as it doesn't interest anyone. So ipoh mali ipoh ipoh mali....

My committment to Abstinence..
Secondly, i wanna stress and make things clear on why am i doing this. It is not to prove anything to anyone. Call me a show-off , an attention seeker or anything you may want to. I'm clear about what i'm talking about. It's a committment that i've decided to make after attending the "No Apologies" course.
By doing this, i want people to know that i've made my stand and i'm proud of it, however i want this to be an evaluation guide. So that if i have been side-tracked in anyway of short-comings, i can be re-directed to the correct pathaway by people. This maybe potentially my most personal post by far, I want people to know that i've made my stand and others can follow likewise. May i once again say that it's not an obligation, but in whatever way you follow your own conviction. I'm just following mine...
"Abstinence is the only 100 percent effective means of preventing pregnancy and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases also known as STD"
Saving Myself for Marriage
- Believing in saving myself for marriage, I make a commitment to myself, my family , my friends, my future and my future children to be sexually abstinent from this day onward until the day I enter a lifelong, committed , monogamous marriage -
the statement above was what was written on my pledge card with my signature and with my parents as my witness.
And as so, my parents are my personal witness to this pledge. I so do make anyone who comes across this post a witness. And i also know that God will be watching my every move in my every action to make sure i see out this lifelong committment that i've decided to follow...I feel very strongly convicted by it, and i intend on doing what God wants me to do, regardless of what others may want to think , feel and say about this.
P.S. - It's never too late for you to say YES to ABSTINENCE. You can still start by deciding today. Regardless of your past. God can heal and restore.

Uneven treatment
"But we are in a situation to fight for the Premiership, even against new football rules. One rule is you're not allowed penalties against Man United, and another rule is you're not allowed to give penalties in favour of Chelsea." - Jose Mourinho -That's what i'm talking about. Firstly, Chelsea shot themselves in the foot by not capitalizing on MU's 1 all draw with Boro a day before. They themselves fought out a goal-less draw at St.James Park against Newcastle. Chelsea didn't exactly deserve to win....but they should have. While there were penalty claim after claim..the referee just waived it on. Meanwhile, rivals MU were riding the luck of their lives, escaping 2 penalty claims from opponents and they were lucky to get away with it.
That's Penalty Claim number 1 - against Sheffield United
1st, to whoever who did this clip. Very well done! It shows exactly what i wanted.
Penalty Claim number 2 - against Middlesbrough

Your destiny , your life...Salvation is NOW
As i heard Pastor Jimmy Mutebi preach during the evangelistic dinner. I was fortunate enough to get free ticket to go for it. The food was good, but it's not about the food. Though he preached for quite awhile, i was really too tired to take notice of much he had to say except that line above. "If your heart stop beating now, do you know where will you be?". I know my answer. I also know that not many people have been visiting my blog..but if you happen to come across this post. Please don't make the mistake that thousands of people have been guilty of , by ignoring this question.
God sent Jesus to bring Salvation to the earth, to all human beings. Salvation is NOW , not tomorrow , not 2 days time and maybe not even today. The matter of the fact is..you don't know what the future holds for you. You won't know what will happen tomorrow...or later to be frank with you. Sometimes, i think because of how easy it is to obtain Salvation, that to some people it is just undescribable, too simple in other words. It's free....so maybe the best things in life are free?
If someone passes away and proceeds to heaven before God, and when asked is he/she a born again believer. And the person answers "No" and says that he/she has never heard of such thing...we have just lost a soul for the Kingdom. But if someone goes before God, and when questioned he also says "No" but says he has heard the gospel before, he has brought death upon himself, as the opportunity was presented ...but decided to postpone or turn away. It is his own lost. And i don't want anyone to be a victim of their own pride and ego...
This is my Salvation prayer to the world :
Father , i acknowledge that i'm a sinner. And this day, i come before You to accept You as the Lord and Saviour of my life. The past of my life, all that i've done that has been unpleasing in your sight. I know in my heart, that all is forgiven at the Cross of Calvary. And Lord, unlike the love that this world offers, i know Yours is unconditional and it knows no limits or boundaries. In your blood, i'm a new creation. I thank you Lord, Amen.
If you have decided to make this decision, it may have just changed your destiny of Eternity. Do feel free to let me know...of your decision.

"we finally parked the car at HP's head office after travelling AAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL the way down to B4a. Gets out of the car heads towards the staircase."
For some of you or most of you, who have been on the lowest floor, you'd noticed that the stairs can't go any lower. Well, i'm finding it hard to describe it but i think Leonard was trying to look for One."
Conversation in the lift
*Kevin pushes lift button*
*lift door opens*
Kevin : got parking ticket ar??
Leonard : *looks calm* got....*pushes the G button*
SUDDENLY ,
Leonard : Ooi! where's the token??
Kevin : *huh*
Leonard : *starts digging his pocket and pulls out a chunk of 50 cent coins for parking...which we weren't useful* need to go back down...*pushes B4 button when the lift reaches ground floor*
Kevin : better check the car then...
*lift arrives at B4 ...(again)*
Leonard : Found it *holds blue token in hand*...clicks G button again...and up we go..
DAMN , that was crappy...if they had CCTV in the lift...i wouldn't be writing this now...

Chelsea struggled to semis as Man United on 7th heaven..
4 Champions League Semi-Finals spot
3 English Clubs : Chelsea , Liverpool and Man United
2 Spots taken in Semis : Chelsea and Man United
1 Winnner : Yet to be announced...
Alright its about the tale of the 3 English teams trying to be the King of European football. For alittle history lesson , the last English team to win the Champions League was Liverpool with that famous Istanbul 05.
(He was replaced soon after....)History lesson #2 : The famous treble by Man United in 99. 1-o and they score 2 goals in extra time. Sheringham (now currently lost somewhere in the world) and Solskjear (still at MU)...scored to bring the European cup back to England after a long long long long time....

The scorelines for today's morning games ..would be Valencia 1-2 Chelsea and Man United 7-1 Roma. Yes , may i stress on the numbering again...and there's no mistake there. SEVEN goals...i would be frank and tell you that the Roma defense were little generous....or maybe very...
Being cynical about Man United ....i would say they would be lucky...but yet again, you gotta be really really lucky to score 7 goals . Even so, i don't think luck would have carried anyone that far.
The tide seems to be turning around, the English clubs are starting to perform well in European competition which in previous years has been widely contested by Spanish and Italian clubs....well, come end of May we'll see who's on top this time around.

Frustrating week..
I can't mention everything that happened...but the one that really made me blow over the top would be the issue about my bluetooth headset. I bought a bluetooth headset from company A and i have used it for about 5 months. So far there hasn't be any major problem with it, but recently it started to give problems. Luckily for me there is 6 months on the warranty, means i don't have to pay for the repairs. The problem with the gadget was it couldn't be switch on, so i sent it in. Well, after a few days, all hopes of having my headset back were dashed. The shop informed me that the service center wouldn't replace or repair my headset because of a sticker on the device has been torn. Tell me how stupid an excuse is that?? ....and when i came home i gave them a call, and the customer service person din seem like much help at all...in fact that person seemed rather ignorant to me.
Absolutely ridiculous,

Missing link....
I had plans for the day...basically attend a couple of college's open day..but i ended up visiting none. I would like to stress my point, that it's no one's fault..just one of those things that don't work out right at times. Dad had work , Mom had stuff to do and my car is still un-serviced. Verdict = can't go anyway.
I've been feeling weird all morning, ....i felt hungry but can't eat anything , i feel excited but yet very unhappy. Very odd, i don't feel like this very often or at all. Well, i've been learning how to play the guitar and i came across this song...."Devotion"...and trying my best efforts to play it...suddenly just felt like everything went back into place. thanks Leonard for letting me use his precious electric guitar...
Here's the song....
I've been running trying to be one who sees
I've been working salvation out of my knees
there is nothing better than knowing
we are redeemed
I'm believing trusting in creative hands
I am praying for our world to bow to Your plan
and this one thought is unmistakeable
I take up my cross and follow You lord
Chorus:
when You stand the tall trees and mountains bow
when You speak the fiercest of oceans is still
and I see sinners seek devotion
lost become chosen
and I fall to my knees
Verse 2:
I'm forgiven by a Savior who did not deserve death
He was blameless, when I was lost in shamefulness
I'm delivered but it doesn't seem right
unless I keep my eyes focused on the Savior who gave His life
in the middle of a world that denies it believes
it is breaking apart at the very seam
in this one thing to be alive for
and it's to take up my cross and follow You Lord
Bridge:
I will take up my cross and
follow Lord where You lead me
I will take up my cross
and follow wherever You go (2x)

FAQ with Kevin Lee , answering to all your questions
I firstly apologize for not answering your question because it's quite a pressuring question and i haven't really made up my mind. So it's quite frustrating being unable to answer every question that has been asked.
First and foremost my results. I don't mind at all telling ...but for complete information sake here it is : 1A 5B 2C 2D. I've continued my 1A streak...nothing really proud of...but at least i don't think my results have declined. It has always been the same pattern....an A with lots of B's ...Guess that makes me a "one trick pony"
Now to the questions : -----FAQ now in session------
Q1: What Am I going to do after this ( SPM ) ?
A1: Well, there have been many options presented to me. Alot in various different ways, very tailor made for students with different interest and needs. For my case, I frankly haven't really decided what i intend on doing or at least i'm not convicted with what i want to do in college. Be it STPM , A-Levels , Diploma and etc etc.
Q2: Would i consider STPM?
A2: No, unfortunately no. I think STPM is really tough and only the really hard-working people or the brains of brains..(which i'm neither of). In some other cases, people who want to do Medicine, which i can't do cause i'm in Arts stream.
Q3: How about A-Levels then?
A3: Perhaps so, i think i'll fancy A-Levels more than STPM at least. People say that going for A-Levels will give me more time to think about what i really want to do but over the span of that 1 and a half to 2 years, i've got a feeling that i still won't be convicted about what i really wanna do. However, i'm not closing this option. I've heard that Arts stream A-Levels has a very wide range. So i'm just playing this on the cards. One at a time.
Q4: Have you considered anything in mind then?
A4: Yes i have. I think that whatever my interest is ...i don't see a future for it in Malaysia at least. When you can't find what you want , you rely on trustable opinions in my case, my parents. They believe marketing suits me most, and i trust their opinion and there have been some really decent marketing courses offered at various colleges which are rather tempting i may say. However, there is a gray area of uncertainty that remains unsolved.
I hope that answers your questions. Sorry if people feel offended that their questions have to be answered this way.

Malaysia Boleh!!! dan Chelsea Boleh!!!
1. Chelsea 3-3 Tottenham
- Chelsea at home i really didn't expect them to let in 3 goals. However they nearly lost this game if it wasn't for a moment of genius from Mourinho and a fighting display from a Chelsea team still John Terry-less. Who was sitting in the stands with ex-England skipper David Beckham. Chelsea started badly and fell 0-1 behind inside 5 mins to a Dimitar Berbatov goal. After settling the game down, Chelsea pushed hard and got an equalizer through stand-in skipper Frank Lampard. that was for 1-1. Then the sucker punch came, an Essien own goal and Hassom Ghaly's gift thanks to some confused Chelsea defending handed the visitors from north London a 1-3 lead into half time. Chelsea pushed hard in the 2nd half and with 19 mins to go they were reward with Frank Lampard getting his 2nd on the day throwing Chelsea a life-line and the Quad is still on track. With some frantic moments in the game, Carvalho picked out Drogba who headed across goal only for Kalou to half-volley the ball into the net a finish even Drogba would have been proud of. 3-3 the final score. Chelsea earn a replay and it's game on.!! Come on you BLUES!!!
2. Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong Malaysian Heroes
I didn't exactly watch this game as i was more worried about the FA cup match going on. Anyway, little i know about the build up to this game. The Malaysian pair were seeded 8th in this All England Championship and were up against the top seed from China. The pair of them have yet to lose a set in the Championship and were keen to keep their good form. A win would be a 1st in 25 years for Malaysia ending a long and unwanted drought. Well, they prevailed without dropping a set still 21-15 , 21-18...sheer Ecstasy for the Malaysian team. They have all done us proud. Malaysia Boleh!!!
P.S ..I hope to have the same fortune tomorrow

A year of hard-work , hopes and dreams unveiled tomorrow
1. They already secured their place in college
2. They basically don't give a damn about their results
3. Come from Rich family - will inherit father's business anyway
That's all i can think of for now. As for myself, i'm neither here or there. People constantly ask me how do i think i would fare in my results. When asked about it , i've decided not to give an answer as that would make me a target for people to be judged.
I believe that if i give answer A people will say i lack ambition and should aim higher. Fair enough good point. I'm being negative.
However, if i give answer B people will tell me to get back down to earth, and be realistic. Which is true as well...i wouldn't want to be a mystical freak either. God works in miraculous ways very true but it's also very relevant and practical in our daily lives.
To say that i've never felt disappointed by God ..i would be lying. But the truth is , whatever that He plans always turn out for the better even when all looks bleak and hopeless. And SPM is not the end of the world. I know God stands in my corner in all my fights, sometimes He gives me a word of encouragement and assurance other times it's a knock on the head. Either way he helps me...i'll be needing alot of those tomorrow. To my other SPM graduates..good luck and God bless.

Timing moving fast but not so fast...
It's already the 5th of March 2007, and time isn't exactly stopping for me as i would like it to. Next week, would be SPM results already. Well, i've tried very hard to occupy myself with everything else apart from that. However, it just suddenly dawn upon me and has kinda moved me off my seat alittle..It's like another round of decision time is coming up and frankly speaking i really don't know what i choose to do or at least intend to do is the right thing.
This is just one of those things , that gets your brain ticking....and it goes on and on. But i won't be rushed or forced into making any decision until the right time comes. I believe that whatever i do, God will be watching over my shoulder and i know that he plans all things to turn out good...although it doesn't make sense at any point of time.

A beautiful final ending with scars everywhere..
As we know, Chelsea won the match in the end...2-1 was the final score. Sad ending for those youngsters but also sad ending to what would have been the beautiful game at it's utmost best. Arsenal took the lead from the 17 year-old wonderkid Theo Walcott, he started the move...then chased the ball down in the Chelsea half...before ending the move by placing the past Petr Cech with accuarcy. Chelsea current defending Champions of England ..showed why they were crowned Champions by equalizing ...Didier Drogba rode his luck for an offside appeal from a slicing through past from German skipper Michael Ballack. It was 1-1 and heading for the interval. Chelsea skipper John Terry had played after miraculous healing from an ankle injury to make the starting XI.
Chelsea were gaining control of the game and what looked like a dream soon turned it's ugly head into a nightmare especially for Terry. A Chelsea corner, and John being himself always going for every loose ball...dived to head the ball only to be accidently kicked in the face by Abou Diaby of Arsenal. It was totally unintentional, and it was a horrorfiying scene for everyone , from stadium spectators to television viewers at home. He seemed to swallow his tongue and some said he actually stopped breathing for awhile. Arsenal and England physio Gary Lewin was 1st to arrive to the scene and i think because of him....Terry is still alive. Trying to describe it to you isn't really enough till you see the actual incident yourself.
The game continued and Chelsea got their winner through yes, you guessed him, Didier Drogba. It was the 2nd on the night, and it was the Ivorian hitman's 28th of the season, sounds like a contender for the golden boot if you ask me. Arsenal pressed on for a equalizer and Chelsea defended strongly with Essien shifting into Center-back for the knocked out Cold Terry. As Kolo Toure charged forward he was mauled down to the ground by John Obi Mikel , Terry's sub. That was it, the whole game which was probably hiding it's boiling point just spilled out and it turned into a massive brawl with both sides players going for each other's neck and that pulled Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho in to attempt at calming their players down. It was rather sad to see, a beautiful ending scarred in such an ugly way.
So yeah, Chelsea celebrated their win. Arsenal shouldn't be too disappointed, those kids played awesome football and will one day be champions for sure. But the real attention stealer was John Terry, Captain Marvel , Mr.Ironman and yes Mr.Chelsea. Returning to the stadium 2 hours after being knocked out cold, came to congratulate the team still in his jersey. He said he couldn't remember anything from the incident and also added that he felt alittle groggy. Simply Amazing. After playing as a defender in my own football experience, i realize that defensive players don't really get any credit for good blocks and saves unlike our striking counter parts who place the ball in the opposing net. So John Terry deserves for than he's getting. Since Mr. Terry can't remember the incident..i'll put the video here...not like he'll see it here anyway.

Red Devils counting their lucky stars...and only one counted
A Manchester United win
- Chelsea will end up 9 points behind the them leading up to the Carling Cup final against Arsenal tomrrow. And things could get worst for Chelsea if MU pulled off a victory against Liverpool at their fortress at Anfield in mid-week. That would lead to a massive 12 points lead...a big task to overhaul even for the "special one"..himself.
A Draw
- A draw would have been the most welcomed in many opinions. MU did ride their luck and the players would be exausted...so maybe a draw would be decent for them. Fulham would be pleased to take a point off the Red-Devils considering they are the pace-setters and everybody vying to beat them.
A Fulham win
- A win for the Cottagers would be ideal for any Chelsea fan. Though the Cottagers are derby rivals to the Blue boys...any Chelsea fan would be rooting for Fulham to dispatch and put the Red-Devils off their stride. It would be 6 points and Chelsea with a game in hand if it turned out to be the fairy tale ending..like lots of people wished for.
Match Report....Fulham back by their home fans at Craven Cottage would be sensing a chance to take advantage of the Red-Devils messed up Champions League outing in France. With a reportedly bust-up between Sir Alex Ferguson and club captain Gary Neville, the skipper was there for left on the bench as Wes Brown deputised his captain at Right-back. Other than that, it was a pretty much expected line-up from both sides. Ex-Fulham boys Van Der Sar and Saha were involved...the Dutchman started while his French Counterpart started on the bench.
Fulham started the brighter of the two sides..to the surprise of many probably including manager Chris Coleman. Fulham created chances and seem the side more likely to get the opening goal...and their efforts were not in vain when Simon Davis latched on to a cross from the middle and with Vidic sticking close to him ...Van Der Sar rushed out of his goal...only to fail to clear the intial ball...Ferdiand headed towards goal as Vidic lost his balance...while McBride..took the ball in his stride and took a clean cut to the cross face of goal...for the opening...hitting the bar on it's way in. (Current Score Fulham 1-0 Manchester United)
It seemed that way for the 1st half-an-hour before Manchester United actually really "turned-up". They didn't looked like a team that would be running away at the top of the league. Started to make chances....and i would hate to admit it...but teams with quality produce the goods with an attempt..they don't need 2nd chances. Wayne Rooney pulling off to the left side of the Fulham box and whip in a cross to an on-coming Ryan Giggs...who brillantly sliced the ball with his outer foot or maybe it was a stroke of luck...as the commentator said it. Oh well, only Giggsy will know what happened. Fulham would have been disappointed going into the interval tied at 1-1.
(After the 15 minute interval) Back to the game, Manchester United...started to attack on the Fulham goal...pulling off great saves from the Goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka in for the injured Antti Niemi. But later the tide turned on them...and Fulham started pounding attack after attack...only for the brillance of Van Der Sar to get them from getting ahead. However , when the Dutchman seemed helpless , the cross-bar still came to United's rescue as Radzinski happen to head what look to be an empty onto the cross-bar..and guess what?? You pay big when you don't take those sorta gifts...
Nearing the end of the game, when legs tire out and players suffer from fatigue..it's invaluable to have a speedy winger of the name Ronaldo. The portugese winger, collected the ball and charged towards the goal...with a couple of stepovers on the way...before unleashing a shot which took alittle deflection which was enough to send it to the bottom corner of the Fulham net breaking the hearts of Fulham fans and also those Anti-Manchester United supporters. 4 Minutes added on time wasnt enough for Fulham to rescue anything ....though they had a strong appeal for a penalty when Van Der Sar clobbered subsitute Heldar Helguson in the penalty box...only for the Referee to waive away the appeals. Leaving Chris Coleman fuming...
So it wasn't the fairy-tale ending like i wanted it to be. Oh well, Carling Cup's tomorrow and John Terry and Arjen Robben are reportly back in the folding for featuring in tomorrow's final. Let's hope for all the best tomorrow. *Fingers Crossed* ....

Barcelona 1-2 Liverpool , bad boys cause mayhem
Back to the real stuff....there has been alot of pre-match hype about this game. Barcelona vs Liverpool. Firstly , it's a match between 2 clubs with lots of history behind them....Secondly, if you'd realized...that it's a match between the past 2 European Champions...Liverpool champions in 04-05 , followed by their spanish counter-parts in 05-06. Frankly speaking, most people i know hadn't given Liverpool a chance to get anything out of this draw....in fact majority were already expecting them to head for an early exit. The only people on this earth that believes they can get something out of it are probably the Liverpool faithful.
Making sure i did not miss this game...i went to bed as early as 10....to ensure i get enough sleep and to do crazy stuff like blogging at 5:59am sounds reasonable. Well, nothing is gonna spoil my day, seeing those ego-crap Barcelona players get whipped at their home stadium , nou camp...is something i would do anything to see it happen. Yeah, and i got it tonight! Channel surfing in-between ESPN and Star Sports....monitoring both games closely...with full attention....except for half-time when i did a complete surf on Astro.
I was quite disappointed when i saw the score Barcelona 1-0 Liverpool. I missed the goal....so obviously i missed what was the built up to it. The game was quite even from there on....Liverpool having the edge slightly if you ask me. The Barcelona flair players frankly couldn't do much...especially their superstar Ronaldinho, who was plainly shut-tight and was left desperate looking for fouls and making stupid complains whenever he got nudge and all. Just because he's a superstar ...lucky the referee didn't really give a damn about him. The other players were just doing the same ...falling down easily and all. Liverpool weren't exactly innocent totally as well, i would say they played very dirty "time-wasting tactics"....though it was still early in the game...however correct me if i'm wrong.
Liverpool replied with 2 goals...from Bellamy and Riise, the recently became famous golfer Bellamy and his golf-ball Riise. Both players seem to put their golfing experience behind them and make it count on the field. It was Bellamy who feeded Riise for the winning goal on the night. I do sympatize for Julio Belletti...he was running around the last 10 mins with what looked to be a dodgy knee but his manager decided to bring on Eidur Gudjohnsen for Javier Saviola. It was a game with some funny errors....like Victor Valdes picking up a back-pass from Guily...that was a noob mistake....even when i play football...i don't see that happening...and the best part of it...he still insisted on arguing....
Well, all in all. It's a competition over 2 legs....1 half of it is done....and it's been going in the right-way. And Liverpool , you've got my support to dump Barcelona out of the champions league.
P.S - i do have something against Barca...i really do...

Chinese New Year....running through the motions..
Friday was another tiring day of work....Sirn Loong and myself....worked in alittle later...and getting home at 7 something from work ain't alot of fun let me tell you. That followed by Daddy bringing home a new toy...an Opel Zafira...it's supposed to be Mummy's car...but it's a complicating story about the car situation at home...i won't discuss it ...complicating...And later that night ...i watched "The Guardian" with Ji Mi...he claimed it was an interesting show...though he hasn't watched it..and when it came to the most interesting part of the show...he decided to fall asleep...wonderful.
Saturday morning - slept late, woke up early + futsal = tiring...From 10 to 12...at IFC...usual game...scored a couple of goals...and i'm quite pleased with the goals to be honest...hehehe.. :-P Anyway, it was raining heavily and when i got home ...it was like the ultimate time to go for a nap...but a hungry stomach kept me awake...and Mum wanting to go IKEA...made me give up my sleep...After coming back from IKEA...i rushed to the bed room....changed to more comfy clothes and took a whopping 3 hr nap....Yeah!!
The stuff Mum bought at IKEA....i also met Melalyn there....
Wrapping>?< ....not my thing...but had to wrap those stuff Mum bought with newspapers....
Though i like shopping..and stuff like that...for once i was thankful to see that sign-------------------- Sunday--------------------
Sunday...yeap...i went to church...seemingly with no visiting to do or at least not much visiting to do...service was much shorter than usual...Even Pastor Ong has to rush off for Chinese New Year perhaps...no? I won't tell you what he preached on either....why don't you just go to church and get the cd and hear it for yourself...i think it would be better that way....
We ended doing some visiting after all....Visiting my Grand-aunty..a.ka. "Koo Por" or in longer terms my late Grandpa's sister..which means my Grandma's sister-in-law...or Dad's aunty..however you wanna know ..Unfortunately , she's loss alot of memory due to old age...she's about 91 mind you~!! So she's in an old-folks home...talkin about memory i couldn't really remember how she looked like too...but Dad and Mum said she loss alot of weight..so i guess that's not a good thing...after that drove to my mum's aunty's place...doing that alternating visitation thing again...Dad's side then Mum's ....so nothing new...went to Bangsar..and came home after that.
Went to Victor's house ....played a round of Fifa...then went to KFC with Jess and Vic...and Jess and myself played a prank on Vic....which we found absolutely hilarious..and all the laughing really got to us....won't tell you either ...what prank we played on him...but Vic is always open to pranks...nice guy.
So and i'm online now...so that sums up the 1st day of Chinese New Year...people say i'm too detailed with my postings..so this is kinda more general...and here's some photos of the day...
Koo Por telling Daddy something.....
Wondering what is Daddy doing with a table spoon and in front of the car
Apparently Car also needs "medicine"......the container in the car was so deepthat seemed to be the only way to put the Brake Fluid in...
The "Car Medicine".....hehehe...what a ~joke~Signing off, happy CNY once again
