Hear all out, but not listen to all

There will be times in life, where one would realize that his/her own opinion is no longer one's strongest opinion anymore or perhaps some just need affirmation to strengthen that own opinion. It comes a time where one would heed or seek advice from someone else, and that advice maybe ...just maybe enough to either give one the affirmation that it is right and continue to go on or perhaps in the reverse order which also means backing out.

In the natural, when in dire need of advice, one would consult and perhaps even listen to anyone irregardless of the person's knowledge towards a particular situation. Which tends to be in my honest opinion a very rash decision should it take place. On the other extreme, there are people who think so highly of themselves that they shut out every opinion and can barely see beyond their own nose bridge. Whilst, valuing your own opinion is not something negative..in fact it could very much be a strong point, it is also ones downfall.

The most appropriate should be that you hear all opinions out but also filter through what comes in and out. Whatever is useful take heed, listen..you may learn a thing or two. Whatever is not beneficial, can be discarded.

It's easier said than done, however. Never stop trying though. Good advice? yet again...your choice

More than just Passion...

The title does not mean anything negative regarding the Passion world tour in Kuala Lumpur at the Sunway Convention Center, cause they really flipped KL inside-out. Louie , Charlie , Chris and the worship team. A salute to you guys, an Amazing job. Well done, I hope that despite the good job that the whole Passion world tour team continue to make things even better for the remainding 10 nations on the world tour. You came and left Kuala Lumpur in awe of How Great Our God is..Great Music, Great Preaching and Testimony..It was extremely moving.

There's plenty about this that I would like to talk about. However, those are only secondary to the main purpose. We all serve together in the body of Christ. Not one can do without the other. It doesn't matter whether you were part of the Passion worship team or a random member in the congregation. All have a role to play, in our own unique way. Everybody made this happen. God uses people in special ways, with the different giftings and talents at hand.

Now also a special thanks to all the crazy Filipinos back at Manila who gave so willingly to make this possible for us. Apart from that, also thank you for all the prayers for this event. Hearing how the Passion blog was flooded with comments really got us into action ourselves.

Manila, Philippines may the God of this city bless you for your faithfulness and sacrifice towards the building of the Kingdom. May whatever you set your hands to do, may it carry a powerful anointing that would be instantly recognized and also distinctly identified as a force that only King of Kings can bring. Let your love for the Lord be always loud, let neighboring countries hear your shout of praise. Breaking the sound barrier, let heaven rejoice together with you. God is doing something Big in your midst. Amen

I still have the Passion wristband strapped tightly to my wrist. It's probably going to stay there till the Passion world tour takes place in Jakarta. Apart from the fact, that I can't seem to find a way to take it out apart from cutting it. It serves a very meaningful purpose. I'm still very much moved by what Manila, Philippines did for us. Therefore, we only reap what we sow. Even though in this case, It was something that they did for us that hopefully we hope to do the same for Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jakarta, Indonesia. The Lord hears your cry towards justice and peace. May what we have experienced in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia tonight be also the same for you guys on the 5th August, Tuesday night if not even better. Let not your creativity in the spirit realm be limited by the lack of space or any other limitations that will be attempting to deter your hungry spirit for the presence of the Lord. I pray Jakarta, Indonesia that your love for the Lord will be stronger than ever. Lord, I pray that your spirit will move within the hearts of these young indonesians of Jakarta that night. May this be more than just a one-off experience they will endure, but may it be a life-changing juncture in their life. Lord, I commit the conference into your hands, bless them as how you have blessed us. Amen.

And last but not least, Passion team. You've been truly a blessing. Rm20 was a real steal in my opinion. We've been very blessed by your ministry. There were many bands out there that the Lord could have used. But the Lord chose you guys, and though reaching the nations is already a very "WOW" big thing. I believe that the Lord has greater things installed for you, the best is yet to come. You've been here at a specific time for a purpose. And that has been achieved. All the best on the following 10 steps, may the Lord send his angels to protect you guys always with your coming in and going out. Amen

How much are you willing to pay?

When the word "pay" is mentioned, what is the first thing that comes to mind? There is a very high possibility that the first thought that comes to mind is money related. Well, it is not wrong that money related matters come to mind, but try to think beyond the issues of finances and then what comes to your mind next? Paying for something is technically exchanging something you have for something that you do not own but it is equated at a certain amount. Everyone will have a different evaluation system on items, as the saying goes "one man's meat is another man's poison". It works exactly the same here.

This is also when terms like priceless , treasure and etc comes in. Back to the point, apart from money...what's next in your mind? I think Love is something that comes to mind as well, am not referring to the love relationships between parents to children or couples, am referring to something beyond that. Now, what has this gotta do with paying/payment? Frankly, it's everything cause it involves more than just money of sorts, it's your life that is left at stake and unless you think your life is not worth anything most people will consider otherwise then. Are you getting a clearer picture of what am talking about now?

I know of Someone who gave everything for you and me. We've mentioned about how much we're willing to pay for something? He gave His life in return for us to have life. He gave it all. Despite that, logically speaking wouldn't we owe Him our life then? Yes, we do owe our lives to Him. However, like a true gentleman He never forces, those who return to Him, He gladly accepts. Those who choose not to whether knowingly or unknowingly, He does not forget about you either. As said, He never forces. Therefore, He'll be like an accountant writing off the bad-debts. So now that you know that He gave everything for you, I push the ball to your feet, the question comes to you...

"How much are you willing to give back to the One who gave it all for you?"

A metaphor that ticks..

Does one knows how it feels to let a golden opportunity slip by? Maybe that's too vague an example to be used. Perhaps, does one know how does it feel to be standing outside a door knocking but yet it goes unanswered. Depending on one's situation the environment will determine the harshness of the treatment. For example if it's fair weather on the outside, cool breeze and plenty of sunshine then maybe having one to wait knocking at the door seems alright. However, in turn if it was a heavy downpour, lightning accompanied with thunder storms and the same door remains unanswered how does that feel? Ponder upon that thought for a moment and search yourself...How would that feel like? Question yourself...I strongly urge you to.

How would you define a true gentleman? Just refer that question to the earlier question. How is it supposed to link, i will let you do the thinking instead. A polite gentleman would stand outside that same door and continue to knock until it is answered. Never like to be an uninvited guest is He. Despite the ravaging conditions outside that door, the polite gentleman would not crash through the door and will certainly not force His way unless invited in. Once again, I leave you with another thought..Why would you not open the door to this gentleman? By already not forcing His way with things, could He be having harmful intentions? or evil schemes? I highly doubt the possibility of that..and most certainly beg to defer should you think of that likelyhood. He waits for an answer on the other side of the door, if answered He rejoices, if not He waits despite the rejection that is at hand.

In turn, what if this gentleman had important information regarding something that would change your life forever and for the better. You've heard of it before, but maybe you're contented with how your life has turned out, but is there anything wrong with having it being even better than the previous? Another scenario, what if things have been on the tough side for you, you struggle and this gentleman could perhaps help you. What's stopping you from opening the door to allow Him to make his point? Things are already in a dire state for you, there's practically nothing to lose..why not take an outside chance to see how things would turn out. Yet most of you despite already hearing what can be done for you, the waiting game is one you choose to adopt and play. He rejoices and accepts despite what you've done to him, as long as you choose to open the door and allow Him in.

Decision making is important but making it at the right time makes all the difference. Making the right decision at the right time is the perfect combination. He may never walk away from your door, but however there are other doors to that need to be knocked at and the possibility of it being answered. Should one decide to open the door after a particular period, unfortunately sometimes it maybe a little too late. That opportunity may not come by again, and one who lets something important slips by rues and regrets it for the rest of one's entire life. Do not make the wrong decisions or at least the unwise ones. You may live to regret it, similarly to many situations in life that bring about the same familiarities.

"You know what I mean"
