Chris Daughtry - Feels Like Tonight

Feels Like Tonight

You, you got me
Thinking it'll be alright.
You, you told me,
"Come and take a look inside."
You believed me,
In every single lie.
But I, I failed you this time.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight,
Tonight.

I was waiting
For the day you'd come around.
I was chasing,
But nothing was all I found.
From the moment you came into my life,
You showed me what's right.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight.

I never felt like this before.
Just when I leave, I'm back for more.
Nothing else here seems to matter.
In these ever-changing days,
You're the one thing that remains.
I could stay like this forever.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight.
Tonight.
Tonight.
'Cause there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you.
And it feels like tonight.
Tonight.

Beautiful game getting uglier ...

I came home yesterday already drained, my mood got no uplifting favours from the newspaper sports section. It did has something to do with football dubbed the "beautiful game", (let me stress that) it had nothing to do with Chelsea losing the Carling Cup to Spurs or finding out that there's a rumoured bust-up between Chelsea skipper John Terry and Coach Henk Ten Cate.

Just for your information, those were the BIG headlines in yesterday's papers. What caught my attention that really gripped my heart was a small column to the right that wrote "Fan losses hand after bomb explodes". The first impression I had was that it was those usual happenings in mostly Latin based countries who always throw tear-gas and flares during matches both inside and outside the stadium, except this time it was a BOMB. This fella perhaps was just an unlucky man, who did nothing and just got blasted.

This dawn upon me, that once dubbed the beautiful game for its atmosphere with families attending to watch the game, little children watching their idols play for their clubs. All those days are long gone into thin air. Not just that, even the days where players would play for the sake of pride of their club and country are gone to. That is because football has become a multi-million dollar spinning industry, there's so much money at stake. That's how corruption entered and brought the Italian League nearly to its knees.

Back about the BOMB. This happened in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This man, Ivo Costa aged 62 had his right arm
amputated by doctors. WHY? at what cost? He basically tried to toss away a home-made bomb thrown by rival supporters, unfortunately for him. It was an unsucessful attempt and one that will haunt him for the rest of his life. The bomb exploded in his arm, perhaps some would say that he should consider himself lucky that he's alive. Well, if a terrorist had his arm chopped off, people will would say he deserved it, cause those hands probably had innocent blood all over it.

In my opinion, the reason why he picked up the bomb is a very unselfish deed (not to mention a high risked one). He could have easily just ran to somewhere else and let it blow, which probably would have blown up in the face of bystanders who did not realized about it. He can count himself as a very unlucky man, and probably that's the last football match he'll ever be attending (I think). Those rivals fans should really be ashamed of themselves, what is it that's so much at stake that people have to go injuring other people just because of a difference over the club they support. It's ridiculous come to think about it.

Sports regardless what game, has been seen as a way of uniting countries and people together. Somewhat how, I think that purpose has disappeared from the face of this earth. Don't even get me started on the racial abuse some players get. That's equally bad as violence.

For further info about this man : check it at Sao Paulo bomb incident

I send this man my best regards, and hope all football fans around take notice of this.

Is this the right kinda of attitude??

Mmmm....Technically speaking, Humans are generally more inconsiderate/selfish by nature. As It can be seen on the road, for frequent road-users we run into this kind of people all the time. Whether they are motorcyclist, car drivers, bus drivers etc. All types show this inconsiderate-ness at some point.

It would be very judgemental for me to say that on the road, I've never been selfish or inconsiderate. It would be a BIG BIG lie..however, I think i fair better of than this minority that is being referred to. No one is perfect so therefore should not speak as though we are..

Anyway, today I went back to Uni. Before noon, headed to Metro Point, Kajang for branch with my class-mates. As i parked the car, I noticed this. (Hang in there...I'm getting to it)

Back to this whole inconsiderate attitude...Would it still be considered inconsiderate if you were in a position where being inconsiderate would not effect anyone...?? It just pop-ed into my head, still doesn't make much sense to me. So just decided to throw it here..

Here's my evidence to my statement or whatever you wanna call it..

Though there were plenty of parking lots, this lady parked her car parallel in
probably 3 parking lots. Though there weren't any cars, I can't really
understand the need for such a decision.

There you go....look further ahead. Notice it's all empty. But still...you get
what i mean..

Time to face the music...

Since the start of the 2nd semester, It was announced to us that we would be getting our results on that 1st week. However, we've been made to dread for it even longer, thinking that we would be given the "shot" on the first week was very naive thinking of me.

Well, approximately 5 minutes ago...I've just receieved a couple of emails telling me that results are out and the times I can collect the result transcript. I think probably this is one of the problems that has been contributing to my many many sleepless nights in the past month or so.

I frankly have no idea at all what my results will be, but I'm having very mixed feelings about it. As much as I would want to think about a positive outcome, just can't seem to get myself to do so. It has been made known to me that the subjects statistics and principles of management A, was the subject that majority people did very badly in.

On my own personal part, those 2 subjects are coincidentally the 2 subjects I felt I did badly in. So it has therefore been sending cold shivers up my spine since then that worst maybe yet to come.

I'll admit that it is Oh so difficult to bring consolation. I'm trying not too feel defeated to a battle that I've yet to be engaged in. Lord, please come to my rescue...

Trait differences..

Mmm...how should i begin this? Nope, I'm not gonna blog about Chinese New Year's happenings. Lets start like this, imagine something round or in a circular shape. What comes to your mind? (you're thinking now) Let me decide for you, think of a pie. Slice it into half right down the middle of it. (done) Now turn it into a pizza and slice it half but horizontally now...you probably got a uncoloured BMW logo now. Ignore all those...It was lame....just finding things to stretch my post.

What i n(really) want to talk about is regarding the course I attended today "D.I.S.C" in church. It is a course to basically help you know yourself better, by knowing what kind of person you are. It will enable you to serve more effectively in church and discover a-little more of yourself.

There's alot more explaination I could do to build up on this "D.I.S.C" but i guess i'll slash all of those unnecessary "bla bla blas" and get to do the point.

I'm gonna list out the type of traits that the different type of people have. See which one suits you best.

  • Type "D" person (Active/Task Oriented) - Dominating , Directing , Driving, Demanding, Determined, Decisive , Doing
  • Type "I" person (Active/People Oriented) - Inspiring, Influencing, Inducing, Impressing, Interactive, Interested in people
  • Type "S" person (Passive/People Oriented) - Steady, Stable, Shy, Security-oriented, servant, submissive, specialist

There are the different type of people that are listed. Learn more about yourself. Enjoy the rest of your day..
