As we stand a couple of weeks away from the new year, a year of God's blessing, the year 2008 will finally come to a close in the next 2 weeks. The new year brings much joy and anticipation, however a good start is often hard to get especially if one is unprepared for it. The year that will soon be over, will only be a distant memory and nothing more. We look back at it constantly to remember the do'(s) and don't(s) as we progress in life. The good and the bad that comes with it, we learn to live with. One thing is certain that, change is inevitable and the only constant in life is change.
On a personal note, the year 2008 brought out a-lot of emotions. Not once so much as been shed over things that would not have been shed on before. A roller-coaster ride, I would like to describe it as. Fortunately one doesn't need to ride the scary thrills of life alone all the time, for a change it's just nice to have someone with you when things are getting stormy.
The feelings I've felt this year
1. I've felt like a basketball player who missed a free-throw and cost his team the championship title.
2. I've felt like a 10 year old having a crush.
3. I've felt like a younger sibling at times. To have someone watch over you.
4. I've felt like little boy who knows where the exit of a shopping mall is, but yet to find his way out.
5. I've felt that doing the right thing sometimes doesn't give you the outcome you want.
6. I've felt invincible sometimes.
7. I've felt what is it like to be alone, and no one seem to understand.
8. I've felt what it's like to be loved.
9. I've felt like I have not eaten in a month.
10. I've felt tired of doing nothing.
11. I've felt like being taken advantage when showed kindness
12. I've felt like helping those who are less fortunate than I am.
13. I've felt like I could do anything and the world was at my feet..
God was always here, He never left.
